Oamaru Operatic

Oamaru Operatic has large premises for costumes and for set construction and storage.

The construction crew has recently built magnificent scenery for Les Miserables, used in Queenstown in 2009 and in Oamaru in 2010. It is anticipated that other societies will want to hire this complex and effective revolving set which has been designed so that it can be dismantled and re-assembled and transported by container. The revolve base itself is also available as a stand-alone hireage.

A wide range of individual and ensemble costumes are also available for hire. We also store (in the oldest Oamaru Stone Building in town!) extensive stage properties.
